conventional, by broadening your speakers’
frequency response well beyond the typical range
of human hearing. This broadening adds to your

enhanced dynamic detail, and an expanded spatial
feel, even amplifying the richness of the lower
frequencies. The common practice of integrating
a subwoofer to boost bass and improve musical
phase accuracy is mirrored in the high-frequency
domain by our super tweeter. It’s this
augmentation of phase accuracy across the
spectrum that maintains the integrity of the

How to position your
SuperTrax - GET THE MOST FROM YOUR SUPERTRAX
The SuperTrax works at its optimum with our
IsoFlare point source driver, however any
loudspeaker will see improvements in sound. The
SuperTrax is a time aligned omnidirectional
super tweeter, which means that the reflected
energy in the room has the same harmonic
structure as the direct on axis energy. It's
this time alignment that brings a perceived
sense of air and space, so getting the correct
position on top of your speaker is important to
get the very best from your SuperTrax.

POSITIONING
To start, make sure it is set back from
the front of the loudspeaker according
to the reference table found below. This
aligns it to the acoustic point source
location for these Fyne Audio models. If
using with other brands of point source
driver, we suggest a similar placement
according to driver size, though some
experimentation may be required to
achieve the optimum results. Significant
performance gains are still apparent
with discrete speaker systems, we
recommend positing the SuperTrax at the
front of the cabinet with such
loudspeakers. |
